Meet our beautiful, strong, and empowering fitness model and NEVA enthusiast, Shannon!
Shannon recently took a once in a lifetime high-altitude trip to Colorado with her family. While exploring the heights of Winter Park, Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapaho National Forest, she and her husband, local Kansas City artist Dylan Mortimer were celebrating a lot of firsts. Dylan was born with cystic fibrosis and after a lifetime of difficulty breathing, he finally received a DOUBLE lung transplant in January. This trip marked the first time that the family has ever been able to travel to the mountains together, thanks to Dylan's new high-functioning lungs!
Shannon has been an inspiration to her friends and family over the years as the tie that binds her family together while caring for two young sons and supporting her husband through many health struggles. As a Pilates instructor and former dancer, Shannon's grace and strength shines through in every pose. She is the definition of empowering, taking every opportunity to shine, to reflect on her gratitude and to give back.
